EmptyInbox for GMail

Description

For iPhone

"The quickest way to clean up your GMail inbox." - AppAdvice

"Pick of the day." - TheNextWeb

Based on the Inbox Zero concept, EmptyInbox is the most effective way to stay in control of your email - see each email in your GMail inbox as an index card, one by one, and decide what to do with it: Star, Trash, or Archive. The email is removed from your inbox, and you're instantly shown the next. Until you're down to 0. Simple. Focused. Fast. Free!

Blaze through your GMail inbox, marking the ones you need to act on, and getting the rest out of sight, out of mind. Flexible enough to fit your own email workflow, but simple enough to stay laser-focused on getting to that glorious state called "Inbox Zero".

Free Features

  • Displays the subject and the first few lines of the email. Enough to know what the next step is for the email. No more.
  • Intuitive button layout right at the tip of your thumb. You're left-handed? No problem, you can flip the controls to a left-handed style in the settings.
  • Perfect for GMail's "Multiple Inboxes" feature - for example, have GMail display "starred + archived" in its own list and you automatically have a "must reply" list

All of this is included in EmptyInbox for free. For additional powerful features, you can upgrade to Empty Inbox Plus from within the app.

Features of EmptyInbox Plus

  • Apply labels - your GMail labels pop out, you choose which one to apply. Done.
  • Undo feature for accidental taps - actions are applied after a short delay during which you can undo them.
  • No ads, more space - the ad banner at the top is removed, giving you 2 more lines of space for the email preview text.
  • Report spam right from within EmptyInbox

What EmptyInbox is not

  • Not your typical email client - you will not be able to read your emails nor reply to them. It is an email processor - helping you tame your inbox.

  • Does not support other email providers - it is currently designed for GMail only.
