Agra Branch of Central India Regional Council was established on 16th July, 1980. It has been awarded as Best Branch of CIRC of 2010. Agra is one of the well known historical city of India all over the world because of the availability of TajMahal, Sikandara and many more historic monuments in its heart. The branch is having around 661 members out of which around 457 members are in practice and rest are in service or engaged in other activities. The branch with the remarkable support of its members has its owned office of around 1197 Sq. Feet at Sanjay Place, Agra and also having 32400 Sq. Feet area of Land at Artoni, Agra out of which 9000 Sq. Feet Area was build up in the year 2006-07. The Branch has also bidded for the new land at Avas Vikas in the month of January, 2011.Many of the members of Agra branch of CIRC has shown a great contribution in uplifting the profession, out of which one of them is Mr. Ashok Jain who has been nominated as Director of Allahabad Bank, PNB etc and Mr. Sanjay Kalicharan Agarwal who is presently the Managing Director of a big business house.Agra Branch also conducts study circle meetings and workshops on every Saturday for members to keep their knowledge updated on the professional subjects. The renowned and expert faculties are called in the meeting who remove the doubts of members about the subjects. The Branch is also publishing its monthly newsletter to serve the members of the branch in a better way.Agra Branch is also successfully organizing batches of General Management and Communication Skills Course (GMCS) which is compulsory for the presently passed CA Final students. In this course the branch is regularly inviting eminent faculties of Management and Communication Skills. This course has 90 hours of theory as well as practical topics. The CA students are groomed by the management gurus by way of technical training at this branch.Agra Branch is also successfully conducting guidance classes and IT Training Programme for the students of the Chartered Accountant Course. The Experienced and well qualified faculties are providing these classes to the students.
