in the groups he was involved. As a former Cast Member/ Musician for the Hong Kong Disneyland Marching Band, he served as the lead percussionist before pursuing his graduate studies. performance, Cyd have handled from all this levels. His main philosophy in teaching is that learning music should
be challenging enough to keep students engaged but not hard to discourage them from even trying, and as always
it should be fun. He have helped his students to perform successful recitals and have others to get into music colleges after passing auditions. Cyd earned his Master of Music degree in percussion performance at the University of
Massachusetts, Amherst with full scholarship and teaching assistantship. He is currently teaching drums at the Nutley School of Music and is doing freelance percussion performance. His recent performance includes appearance with the Windham Orchestra in Vermont, Pioneer Valley Symphony in Massachusetts, Vari Musicisti in New Jersey, and the Fil-Am Symphony Orchestra's debut performance at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, CA.
