The format remains the same:TOEIC exam consists of two sections: Listening and Reading, 45 minutes for the Li
stening section, and 75 minutes for the Reading section. The number of questions also remains unchanged.2. Changes to the questions:- Listening section + Different accents are used in the audio excerpts (such as American, British, Australian and Canadian accents) + The Listening section questions are now recorded as part of the audio excerpts as well as being written out. Therefore, the candidates can answer questions without having to read them- Reading section +The biggest change in the Reading section is the replacement of the “Error Recognition” exercise (which involves identifying mistakes), by the “Text Completion” exercise (which involves filling in the blanks in a text) + Some texts are longer. Instead of having many situations described with a single question for each situation, there are fewer situations presented but more questions for each one. This was introduced in order to reduce the number of different scenarios to which the candidate has to adapt + Finally, some questions refer to more than one text. For these questions, you have to link up the different texts to be able to write pertinent answersMain features:• The flashcard part provides you with 600 essential TOEIC words divided into 50 categories.• Over 400 questions divided into 7 categories, 20 practices and 14 simulation tests.• The categories part covers all aspects of the exam: Photos, Question-Response, Short Conversations, Short Talks, Incomplete Sentences, Text Completion, Reading comprehension• Each of a Practice contains 20 questions, picked randomly in order to get the student used to different types of questions.• The simulation tests part offers you a chance to take the TOEIC in real life conditions, meaning 200 questions in about 2 hours.
