This application informs and explains in detail about the engine control system and also comes with how to fix or solve problems with your car engine.Precautions for On Board Diagnostic (OBD)System of EngineThe ECM has an on board diagnostic system. It will light up the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) to warn the driver of a malfunction causing emission deterioration.CAUTION:- Be sure to turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative battery terminal before any repair or inspection wo
rk. The open/short circuit of related switches, sensors, solenoid valves, etc. will cause the MIL to light up.- Be sure to connect and lock the connectors securely after work. A loose (unlocked) connector will cause the MIL to light up due to the open circuit. (Be sure the connector is free from water, grease, dirt, bent terminals, etc.)- Certain systems and components, especially those related to OBD, may use a new style slidelocking type harness connector. For description and how to disconnect, refer to EL section, “Description”, “HARNESS CONNECTOR”.- Be sure to route and secure the harnesses properly after work. The interference of the harness with a bracket, etc. may cause the MIL to light up due to the short circuit.- Be sure to erase the unnecessary malfunction information (repairs completed) from the ECM before returning the vehicle to the customerTROUBLE DIAGNOSIS - INDEXEngine Fuel & Emission Control SystemWiring Diagrams and Trouble DiagnosisPREPARATIONENGINE AND EMISSION CONTROL OVERALL SYSTEMENGINE AND EMISSION BASIC CONTROL SYSTEM DESCRIPTIONMultiport Fuel Injection (MFI) SystemElectronic Ignition (EI) SystemAir Conditioning Cut ControlFuel Cut Control (at no load & high engine speed)Evaporative Emission SystemPositive Crankcase VentilationBASIC SERVICE PROCEDUREFuel Pressure ReleaseFuel Pressure CheckFuel Pressure Regulator CheckHow to Check Idle Speed and Ignition TimingIdle Air Volume LearningON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM DESCRIPTIONTROUBLE DIAGNOSIS - INTRODUCTIONTROUBLE DIAGNOSIS - BASIC INSPECTIONTROUBLE DIAGNOSIS – GENERAL DESCRIPTIONTROUBLE DIAGNOSIS FOR INTERMITTENT INCIDENTTROUBLE DIAGNOSIS FOR POWER SUPPLYDTC P0100 MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR (MAFS)DTC P0115 ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (ECTS) (CIRCUIT)DTC P0120 THROTTLE POSITION SENSORDTC P0130 (RIGHT, -B1), P0150 (LEFT, -B2) FRONT HO2S (CIRCUIT)DTC P0325 KNOCK SENSOR (KS)DTC P0340 CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (CMPS) (PHASE)DTC P0605 ECMDTC P1217 ENGINE OVER TEMPERATURE (OVERHEAT)DTC P1335 CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (CKPS) (REF)DTC P1336 CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (CKPS) (POS) (COG)ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSORINTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSORFRONT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR HEATERREAR HEATED OXYGEN SENSORREAR HEATED OXYGEN SENSORFUEL TANK TEMPERATURE SENSORCRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (CKPS) (POS)EGR VOLUME CONTROL SYSTEMEVAP CANISTER PURGE VOLUME CONTROL SOLENOID VALVEVEHICLE SPEED SENSOR (VSS)IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE (IACV) – AUXILIARY AIR CONTROL (AAC) VALVECLOSED THROTTLE POSITION SWITCHA/T COMMUNICATION LINESWIRL CONTROL VALVE CONTROL SOLENOID VALVEIGNITION SIGNALA/T DIAGNOSIS COMMUNICATION LINEPARK/NEUTRAL POSITION (PNP) SWITCHVARIABLE INDUCTION AIR CONTROL SYSTEM (VIAS)INJECTORSTART SIGNALFUEL PUMPELECTRONIC CONTROLLED ENGINE MOUNTPOWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE SWITCHREFRIGERANT PRESSURE SENSORELECTRICAL LOAD SIGNALMIL & DATA LINK CONNECTORSSERVICE DATA AND SPECIFICATIONS (SDS)Fuel Pressure RegulatorIdle Speed and Ignition TimingMass Air Flow SensorEGR Temperature SensorIACV-AAC ValveResistorThrottle Position SensorCalculated Load ValueIntake Air Temperature SensorRear Heated Oxygen Sensor HeaterCrankshaft Position Sensor (REF)Fuel Tank Temperature SensorCamshaft Position Sensor (PHASE)Give your assessment, is this application useful?if useful provide the best judgment for this appthank youThis application do not need internet connection (can be used offline) Free download
