A good paint job starts with the prep work, wiping down walls, taping off any areas not to be painted, and using drop cloths and tarps as protection. Focusing on attention to detail while painting is key to a superior paint job. I always use 2 coats of paint on walls and 1 coat of paint on baseboards. Sometimes a 3rd coat will be needed on your walls if you're covering up a darker color. We can discuss that when I come out to look at your project. I understand everyone has their preference in the paint they like, some people like Glidden, while others may like Behr, which is why I have no problem using your paint. I can also purchase Sherwin Williams Paint with a Pro-Account, saving you money. Speaking of money, you're probably wondering how much it costs to hire my services. My pricing is very affordable for high quality workmanship. If I purchase paint for you, a standard 12x12 bedroom would cost $100 to paint the ceiling, $350 to paint the walls, while trim for 2 windows and baseboards would be an additional $100. If we use your paint then those prices would be lower. Having trouble deciding on a wall color? I can help with that by offering a selection of contemporary "in style" colors. Wallpaper removal is another service I offer. Because removal is so different on every job, I like to come out and remove some of the paper as a test to see how long the project would take. If you have an older home and your hinges are covered with old layers of paint, I can remove the hardware and take off the old paint. The difference is amazing and can preserve the classic look of your home. I've added some pictures above showing the transformation. Give your basement some TLC– I'll scrape any old paint if needed and then paint your basement walls and floors with Sherwin Williams LOXON products.
