First of all, “We Are Not Mobile”, we have a repair facility and have plenty of work here and are unable to go to you.
Xtreme Auto Repair is now set up to program, reprogram or flash any computer module on most any vehicle make or model vehicle. This includes but is not limited to all Domestic GM, Chrysler, Jeep and Ford manufactures, but we are also capable of OEM programming on most foreign manufactures like Land Rover, Jaguar, Toyota, BMW etc. Our program flashing is setup to only program
/ upload the original manufactures designed data within each Electronic Control Module (ECM) that may have failed on your vehicle due to various reasons.
An ECM can fail usually by moisture intrusion but can be caused by electrical shorts within the vehicles wiring network. These shorts can be on the positive or the negative side of the electrical system. It is possible to short an ECM by jump-starting a vehicle if a vehicle is jump-started due to a bad battery by mistakenly connecting the jumper cables in the wrong polarity. A lightning strike can also damage a vehicles computer system, for I have seen first hand where 12 computers in a Chevy Tahoe had to be replaced due to a lightning strike. A weak battery with just one bad cell can also cause computer failure. There are 6 cells in a vehicles battery in which each cell holds 2.1 volts fully charged.
